 Jacqui
is an experienced workshop leader and has facilitated numerous
workshops and seminars on a wide range of topics for over
12 years. As an active member of the public speaking organisation
Toastmasters International for over 7 years, she
currently holds the Advanced Communicator Gold award and is
a past Area International Speech champion.
Jacqui is energetic and
inclusive, with the aim for everyone to go away with both
increased enthusiasm and agreed actions.
'Cracking Innovation'
Workshop
Jacqui is developing this in partnership
with Bala Subramanian. To demonstrate what this is all about,
we are initially delivering a practical presentation and mini-workshop
about how Innovaton can benefit any business. It should take
me just under an hour. We will discuss a number of examples
of Innovation, review why and how Innovation can help develop
competitive advantage, showcase a few simple tools and techniques
and demonstrate that anyone can be innovative.
The full workshop will run for a full
day inside an organisation, and cover these aspects in much
greater depth - looking at a
real business problem.
'Build
Your Own Business Plan' Workshop
- Learn what a business plan is,
and why your business needs one.
- Exchange ideas with other business
owners on each of the elements of your plan.
- Produce the first draft of your
plan (on templates provided) or perfect your existing plan.
'Speak and Enjoy'
Seminar
Good communication is a key element of
Project Management. You need to engage well with your team
and stakeholders to get your messages across – whether plans,
budgets, recovery actions, self defence or purely dissemination
of information. If you communicate well then you are able
to influence your bosses and peers, and motivate your teams
towards their goals and inspire the confidence to achieve
them.
During this session, you will learn techniques
for overcoming nerves, planning and constructing effectives
speeches and presentations, and making maximum positive impact.
This will include what is appropriate in different situations
including how to handle impromptu communications. There will
be an opportunity to practice these skills and ask questions
about communication problems you may have experienced in the
past.

If you've ever been stuck for an idea
or a solution to a problem, you will already know the benefit
of getting help from other people. A facilitated workshop
can be a very effective way of doing this, as an experienced
facilitator will keep the interactions structured and focussed,
freeing you up to focus on participating.

into thinking creatively.An effective workshop will bring
