Welcome to Marlow Orators

This is the website for the 'Advanced' Toastmasters club in Marlow, Buckinghamshire.

If you are a Toastmaster with CC, CTM or above, we would like to invite you to join our new Advanced Speaking club. Due to a fabulous surge in membership over the past few years, a large number of members have now achieved their CTMs and CCs. Like us, many are looking for additional speaking and leadership challenges. This has prompted us to get together and set up an advanced club to enable members to add to their skills.

Our aim is not to be a club of 'advanced speakers' but, rather, a club that enables speakers to advance their speaking skills beyond that available in clubs, either through offering new experiences and opportunities or just through having more speaking time. The only membership requirement we set is that members must be a current member of a regular TM club and that they have achieved their CC. This isn't to set any kind of standard, but just to ensure that members have some reasonable understanding of what TM is about.

If you are still working through your first 10 speeches, then you would be very welcome to come along as a guest!

We meet once a month with a similar agenda to a normal Toastmasters club night. We often have special events like our recent evening with all 5 speeches from the Entertaining Speakers manual or the Tall Tales contest..

All education awards go to your home club rather than Marlow Orators.
